I disagree. Intelligence is a indicator of the amount of knowledge a person has and their ability to apply it. Knowledge is in the storage and retrieval of information (memory). It's effectiveness is in the performance of that knowledge (language and behavior) and the ability to make neural connections that build upon that knowledge (processing).

I don't know something because I can put words to it. I can put words to it because I know it.
