Re-Writing Your Memories in ChatGPT

Your memory is full. Now what?
Do you want to manually go through and check your memories? No. Of course not. Avid bot users would laugh at the thought. So here’s my solution. I’m sure there are many others, but this worked for me.
Step 1: Accessing and Copying Your Memory
- Open Memory Settings: Go to Settings and locate the Memory (Manage) section. Here, you’ll find the stored memories your AI assistant uses for context.
- Copy the Memory: Review the memories in the list and copy everything by selecting the text and using a right-click or the shortcut Ctrl + C (Windows) or Cmd + C (Mac).
- Paste the Memory in a Chat: Paste the copied memory into the chat by right-clicking in the input area and selecting Paste or using the shortcut Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac). This will allow the assistant to view the memory and work with you to organize, optimize, or delete unnecessary parts.

“I’ve pasted the memory here, can you help me review and optimize it?”
