This is an interesting comparison, and I get where the parallels between Ford and Thiel come from. Both used their influence as innovators to back controversial leaders, but the stakes and motivations feel different. Ford’s support of Hitler was tied to outright harmful ideologies, while Thiel’s backing of Trump seems more about disrupting the political establishment.

That said, Thiel’s influence in areas like AI and defense tech raises big questions. Is his support of Trump just about shaking up the system, or does it risk pushing us toward a more authoritarian, tech-driven future? It’s a fine line between fostering progress and consolidating control.

I think it’s important to watch how figures like Thiel use their power. Are they driving innovation for the greater good, or are we heading toward a future where democracy takes a back seat to corporate influence? The comparison is a reminder to stay vigilant about who’s really steering the ship.
