As a writer, I’m supposed to be against AI-generated content. As a marketing specialist, I’m supposed to be scared that the machines are coming for my job. But as someone who uses AI-assisted writing every day — I feel like there’s a big misconception that needs clearing up: AI doesn’t stifle creativity. It amplifies it.
The heartbeat of the work I do comes from my pulse. The ideas, the direction, the message? That’s all me. Those thoughts start in my brain, shaped by my experiences, my goals, my perspectives. When I use ChatGPT, I’m not outsourcing my creativity. I’m sharpening it.
AI tools help me take my raw, messy, often disorganized thoughts and turn them into something that makes sense to any human reading it. They don’t replace my voice — they amplify it. The end result isn’t some robotic output. It’s me, but clearer and more refined. And as a neurodivergent lady, that’s a big help.
